Y2 Kedakanami 031 is sired by the famed Shigefuku who is the 100% Kedaka/Tottori bull with genetics available in the US or AU. Y2 Kedakanami 031 is also steeped in marbling genetics through his dam: JC Itoshigenami 010, sire by TF Itoshigenami 148. TF 148 is one of the most widely used sires in Australia and is considered to be a top 3 bull for fullblood and terminal Wagyu production. He is known for passing fine snowflake marbling to his progeny and is the highest percentage Kumanami strain of Tajima influence Wagyu outside of Japan. The combination of these two outstanding Wagyu will yield the desired result of increased growth and decreased days on feed, all while maintaining the superior marbling and increased carcass yield through the infusion of Kedaka genetics coupled with the fine snowflake marbling potential of the Kumanami strain.
