Description:
1206L is shown with a picture that was taken in the Summer of 2024. Sired by the famous WSI Umemaru and crossed with the Rueshaw lineage, 1206L is a bull loaded with potential! This genetic outcross giant is dark red in color and very calm to handle. He posted an impressive weaning weight of 610 lbs at 239 days of age! His Sire, WSI Umemaru, is pictured in this listing as well. WSI Umemaru is known as one of the best marbling Akaushi sires ever produced in North America. He was sired by “Hikari” who was born in Kumamoto Prefecture and is a breed leading sire for 200 day weights, 400 day weights, and 600 day weights. WSI Umemaru is a transformational sire, he corrects many conformation inadequacies, has sired many show champions, and improves carcass texture and composition. The inclusion of WSI Umemaru in 1206L's pedigree brings a great deal of both marbling and growth! WSI Umemaru's semen has become very rare and recently fetched $7,500/straw. 1206L's dam is a fantastic Rueshaw daughter sired by Rueshaw 430. Rueshaw needs no introduction. With his rare semen selling for over $20,000 per straw, there is a huge demand for his genetics. In 1976 Rueshaw was one of two of the very first Wagyu bulls ever to leave Japan. Rueshaw was the Japanese Red National Champion Bull in 1975. He originated from the Kumamoto Region which is the heart of the Japanese Akaushi breeding capital. He possessed a valuable outcross of blood in his genetic makeup that is vital to the Akaushi stud breeders. We bought this bull 1206L because of the excitement of growth, gain, feed conversion, and marbling all packaged together; wanting to perform both in the feedyard and on the rail.
