In mid 2006, Champion Genetics purchased the custom semen department of
COBA/Select Sires. There will be no break in service or change in prices. All
semen currently stored by COBA will be inventoried. Champion Genetics assures
you this transition will be seamless for you, the client.
In November, 2007, Champion Genetics opened its new facility just outside of
Canton, Texas.
Craig Barton and Bob Woodward formed Champion Genetics to work in the part of
the industry they are truly passionate about.
Bob has worked for COBA for 30 years performing custom collections. He is also a
reproductive specialist consulting on breeding programs and protocols. Bob
trains owners so they can AI their own animals.
Craig has a BS in Animal Science and has worked for COBA for 23 years. The first
two of these were side by side with Bob collecting. The last 21 years have been
in sales and cattle evaluation working in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. |
